Hi, when I ordered mine from York I just gave them full name and details, place of death, year of death. I think they search about 5 years on. Anyway, got mine ok. |

according to National Archives "Wills guide" all you need to order the post 1858 wills from them is the date of death - but I'm sure I've read article that say you need a specific reference and they aren't even arranged by date of death but date of probate being proved - can anyone confirm/deny this? |
