Hi Anne, yes thanks I think I have located him on BMD but I was hoping for names of his siblings also which would be on the Census which is why I wondered if anyone had access to the 1861 Census and would be kind enough to take a quick look for me. I have seen Walter Worthington also on the 1871 Census on Ancestry age 15 as an apprentice but can't be sure it is him. Also I am on long term sick from work at the moment aand unfortunately not in a position to be sending for certs at the moment. Thanks for your help anyway, Gaynor :-)

I have come up against a brick wall with Walter Worthington, my Great Grandfather on my paternal side. He was born in the June, July, August Quarter 1856 in Runcorn Cheshire and died on 24th April 1913. I have him on the 1881, 1891 and 1901 Census's. In 1871 he was about 15, I haven't been able to locate him but he could have been working away from home maybe in service but I am hoping to find him on the 1861 Census when he would have been about 5 years old. That that way I would be able to find his parents and siblings also. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks. Gaynor :-)
