Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 83 Send Message	I have the same problem, my husbands Uncle died in California in 1966, we wanted his death certificate and his SSI application. You need to be a parent, sibling or child to get them. We were to told to apply and give our reasons and they would decide wether to release the information, that was three months ago and we are still waiting.
