Does anyone know where I can find coroners reports annnd records of trials in Suffolk in 1870?--Jean Thanks for the info. I tried Colindale, but there were so many nos., I didn't know where to start--but will perservere.--jean |

If the coroner's records survive - and many don't - they should be in the county record office. Trial records would depend on the court they were held in. Newspapers usually cover such things: either held in local studies libraries, or at Colindale. Juicy trials may be reported in the Times, which some libraries have online. B |
