Well at least i know there was an infirmary there and she was ill! Maybe her husband stayed at home because he thought it was infectious and didn't want the children ill? Merry Xmas! Kim

No it doesn't the occupier is a Charles A Stamp, but the death is certified by Walter Dick Mrcs . ... Interesting one ...probably a nursing home or something to do with the salvation Army. I know she was in that..... Kim

Just look at Broyle Rd It is not as long as it looks It is only that name between Broadway and Oakland About a mile There are 2 hosp just off of it but I do not think they would be Addressed as being on it.

Thanks for your help Pat . Have just looked on the St Richard's hospital where her partner died in 1942 and it says that Started in Broyle Road originally so looks like it was an infirmary. Thankyou for sorting that one Kim

She died of bronchopnemonia and anasarea - so I doubt she'd be out shopping! maybe it was a sort of nursing home? KIM

The address is 171 Broyle Road , Chichester, it looks a fairly main road and the occupier was a Mr Chas Stamp. I wonder whether she died whilst out shopping or whether it could be some sort of hospital as you say.... This was in 1928 but I'm not familar with Chichester, so I'm not sure. Kim

Have finally received death cert , waiting since 22.11.04 but the informant is the occupier of the house in which she died ,not a relative? Does this mean she was split up from her husband or just that she happened to be visiting a man when she died? I've not heard of the name before and he is just down as "Occupier". her address is given under her husband occupation and is not the same as the place she died... Confused person Kim
