Re-registering a birth

Does anyone know if you can re-register a birth for a living person.They only have a shortened cert.without the parents names and would like to include the parents names.The parents were married when the birth took place. |

Full details would have to have been provided at the initial registration. Many people opted for a short cert when needing to prove their identity. It was cheaper than the full one, but a full one is easily obtained for £7 from the GRO or the local register office. nell |
