A couple of days ago I deleted my tree from the site and then imported my up to date tree, I keep my details in an off line database. It has treated all my info as being new. I have been inundanted with people who may or may not be related. I assume this is because they have been told about new names being added. So it may be worth you doing the same in order to see what response you get. |

Sounds like a good idea - as long as you know what you are doing. Dont think I will try it though, the thought of losing the lot doesn't bear thinking about!! I wonder how often people look to see if they have a connection, I do every so often and its surprising what comes up, I think its always worth a quick message to someone if you think there may be a connection, nothing lost if there is not. |
