Hi, does anyone know if there is a website anywhere that might give me information on a Wesleyan Minister in 1871. My ggggrandfather is shown on the 1871 census as 'Wesleyan Minister/Pauper'. Any info gratefully received as I am coming to a grinding halt on this at the moment! thanks Trudy

Have you tried (e.g.) Google? If you put his name in in inverted commes it will treat it as a single item, as "Wesleyan Minister" could also be. Throw in a placename or something and you may strike lucky. I've used the same technique and found lots of useful stuff. Christine

I just googled Methodist Ministers and it came up with a lot of sites. I should try Methodist Church Archives or something like that - Im sure you will find a list of ministers with the church somewhere.
