Sue, If he was still alive and mentally able he should be the informant. It might help you determine when he died. I'll try an age search for him on FreeBMD later tonight when it's less busy. Crista

Hi Crista, I do not have the death certificate for Susannah, do you think if I ordered it then it would give me some clue ie if Henry her husband was the informant..I was hoping the Henry I found was her husband

Sue, Henry aged 78 can't be yours. He should be 69 in 1895. Crista

Hi I had a look on http://www.yorkshirebmd.org.uk and found this: Yorkshire Marriage indexes for the years: 1844 Surname Forename(s) Surname Forename(s) Church / Register Office Registers At Reference WOOD Henry RICHARDSON Susannah St Peter, Leeds Leeds CE46/17/463 Yorkshire BMD isn't complete (any more than other Local BMD sites or FreeBMD) but it wouldn't be an impossible date. Do you already know her maiden name? - That could rule this record in or out. Christine

Crista, You found my gt x 2 grandad last year on my fathers side. I think you have found Henry's wife Susanna, I never saw them on the BMD must of had my eyes closed. Anyway just been over there and I found Henry aged 78 died Halifax 1895, now I only got his birth year from 1841 census, so I have just thought, that on the 1841 census they round the ages off don't they so Henry was down as 15.......

Sue, It looks like his wife died in Halifax in 1898: Deaths Jun 1898 Wood Susannah 73 Halifax 9a 299 Do you know if he was the informant for this? That would help narrow down when he died. Crista
