Army census ?

Hi, Does anyone know if soldiers serving abroad would be listed on census from 1851, and if so where can it be found. Jim

Befor the advent of radio it would of been to complicated to do that. It would of taken months to get the info back to the UK. The only way ( I know of) to get info on a solider is to look up his service record.
