Does anyone know if there is a way of finding out where an ancestor is burried in a cemetry before going there or is it a case of just looking around for it when you get there? Im wanting to go and find some of mine now i know which cemetry they are in. Regards, Claire

Claire, Cemetries normally have very good records of exactly where someone is buried. I'd try contacting the cemetry directly and asking if they can help or if they can point you in the right direction of who keeps therecords (sometimes its the council etc) theres also a thread on the Records office board for people who are willing to take photos of cemeteries if you cant getthere yourself - you may find someone on there can visit your cemetery Zoe
