You can find some "interesting" people on the www.familysearch.org censuses by putting words like "the" "one" "two" etc as a first name (and nothing else). Household: Name Relation Marital Status Gender Race Age Birthplace Occupation Father's Birthplace Mother's Birthplace Three Foxes Self M Male NA 26 DAK Indian Scout DAK DAK Long Neck Wife M Female NA 26 DAK Keeping House DAK DAK

While looking for a family name in the 1901 census came up with Winsor castle it was very interesting, but sadly I did not save. ANNABEL

It's amazing what you come accross by accident whilst searching records. In Ancestry.co.uk if you hit search on the title page with out entering any info it comes up with all the available censuses. click on 1871 and the very first entry is Her Majesty Empress Eugenie Maria, wife of Napoleon III, in Chiselhurst Kent. They were in Exile in Britain at the time. Napoleon III died in 1873. Anybody else come accross famous or quirky people like that? Sioux
