I have recently discovered my father was married before he met my mother and had another family! As my parents are now both dead is there any way of searching for divorce records as it states on my parents marriage lic that the old mans previous marriage was disolved.

Neil I only discovered my father-in-law had been married before when he and my mother-in-law were dead! No children though. Read this for more info: www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/familyhistory/divorce/ nell
