You could try the London Archives there on line or look to see if there is a more locale museum you should find that out on line as well.

My mother was brought up here, and going through my Nan's things a couple of months back, I cam accross a newspaper clipping from when they developed part of Mortlake, my mum's childhood home being demolished in the process. I then started wondering if there is any website that is interested in this sort of thing, old newspaper clippings that may just be of interest to other people with some sort of index, keyword search. It would be good to send the mage to such a place. Anyone know if anywhere exists?
