This would be for the freepages at Rootsweb. I have had a site on there for a couple of years. They have help pages that tell you how to do it and you can be a complete beginner or expert. You can, for example, create a site automatically from family tree software and simply upload all the files, or you can write all of your pages 'by hand'. Like most 'free' sites you get adverts on your pages and pop-ups

I had an email from Rootsweb offering me web space for my tree. Has anyone else? Thing is I have registered and been told I have space - erm, now what do I do? Anyone know?
