I have only just started doing my tree and am so enthusiastic I have managed to trace my maternal family back to 1837 already. Can someone tell me if it is possible to find records before that time and if so, where, because the sites I have used don't offer any info before that time. Many thanks. Linda Thank you Margaret, I will have a go.
