marriage help!

Sinead - there are over 200 Samuel Barber marriages on Ancestry Plus (some with second christian names). The closest I could see was a Samuel Barber who married in Bath in March 1852. Pardon my ignorance but what county was Bedminster in at that time?

another idea- if you can find children's birth certifacte, it'll have mothers madien name on it - you can search for the marriage

maybe the church in which they registered at - was outside the boundary for bedminster- do you know any surrunding areas?

tried that! eldest child born 1851 samuel born in 1828 and died in 1904 married in all census and not left bedminster-hence the puzzle! i just give up!!!! sinead

how old is the oldest child - they were more than likley before married before their birth (narrows the years down a bit)

it says she born bedminster! have thought it all - lost cert,not married,diff name! got nowhere! thanks to you all will keep him as brick wall! sinead

I tried to look on Ancestry Plus for him but there are problems with the site at the moment.

As far as I know Free BMD is not yet complete but it should be there on 1837.com. Do you know the year he married?

help i'm stuck!!! i have a samuel barber born 1828 in Bedminster bristol.He never left there and by 1881 census he was married to caroline with kids.i even have his death but on freebmd and 1837 there seems to be no trace of this marriage.where do i go from here?i'm well and truly stuck and any help would be much appreciated! sinead
