Hi, my GGMx2 has entered on her marriage cert her father's occupation as "Officer of the Customs". I take it this just means Custom Officer. That would have been about 1850 in Stepney. I have googled but cant find anywhere where I could find any info about this man. Does anyone know of a site which may keep records of Customs Officers please.
