Thanks everyone, sorry it's taken a few days for me to respond, haven't had a chance to get on line because of work. it looks like there is no shropshire bmd on line which is a shame. i'm going to have a look at the family history site though, thanks all. Maria |

Or, on the same site, you can go round the other way by selecting "Local BMD" from the left-hand menu and scrolling down the list to see if Shropshire's there. I don't think it was last time I looked - in either half of the list. In that case, Sam's idea is better because, even if you can't find a Local BMD site, there may be something else useful for you. I don't know but if you go to www.ukbmd.org.uk there is an option on the left hand side to choose a county, if you select Shropshire, it then gives a list of all websites related to that county. If there is a dedicated BMD one, it will be there. Sam |

Does anyone know if Shropshire has it's own bmd site like a lot of other areas? Maria |
