Help please, with finding details relative to my illegitimate mother's father of whom I know only his name, birthplace and legitimate daughter's name (lives in Eire) and, wait for it, details pertaining to the father of my illegitimate paternal grandmother of whom I know only his surname and his occupation (solicitor). Like me I think its a case of hunt the clues. I used a lot of town sites with message boards.(got a name that way) The Law Society might be a good start for one of yours. I think they could help. If not try law directorys from the time you need. It took me time to find who I was after but it was worth it. I ended up with more info on him than my grandad |
