Hi As far as I know, people in prison are just listed as normal on the census. Do you have his name/age/place of birth and I can have a look on Ancestry for you. Sam |

Hi everyone,I just entered a ''tip''and now I need one!! It shows how desperate I am to find my GGF.Are there records, easily available, showing people on prison during 1871 census period? There were rumours that he was a ''remittence man''!.He came to New Zealand in 1874.What are you people doing at your PC's at this time of night?shouldn't you be tucked up in bed with a nice hot water bottle?I'm told its a bit ''parky'' over there!!Vry best regards,Bernardo,AKA ''Yorkshire Kiwi''. |
