My grandmother was brought up in a home in London around 1920. Who would i need to get in contact with to find the records of her being there as this may lead to information on her mother. Regards Sarah

Many thanks for your reply but my grand mother was Jewish so i doubt Cof E. Is their any others as i have def been told Montefiore or Montifiore House, and i think 69 Stamford Hill?

The thing is my grandmother was never adopted, she was just put into the home and i suppose left the home at the age you are supposed to fend for yourself.
