No thank you Jess. We don't need any more Irish people to search for. Lovely though they are, the ones we have already are hard enough to track. I'll stick with my JONES the milk, JONES the brake, JONES......

sorry Gywneth, made me chuckle, glad mine aren't welsh - actually, swap you a few of your welsh for my Irish! Jess

I agree Jim. As Niall says, it helps to clarify, - especially important when dealing with people like my Welsh lot, when the name and surname could easily be reversed and still make sense.

Actually, and I do a lot of look us for people, what is most important is the facts - not the way they are written. Yes capitals can help for clarification, but not essential. Paragraphs are helpful for defining facts. and the odd full stop or comma to split up information, but for me, capital letter are the least of my worries! Jess

It also helps to distinguish between James AUSTIN and Austin JAMES for example Niall SANDERSON

Traffic on this web site is like the M25 in rush hour. When one is skimming through the "Trying to Find" messages looking for a particular surname it is easy to over look a surname unless it is printed IN CAPITALS. Please try it! It will help everybody to find the name they are searching for. Jim EBLING
