where do i search next???

Right most of my husbands anscestors i can trace to around the 1840's... but where can i search now?? There is no 1851 cnsus online i can find for lancs. I have given up on my irish rels as i keep hitting brick walls so where now?? Is there anywhere else i can search online???

The IGI is on the LDS (Mormons) site which is Family search. Try that or put the details on here and one of us will have a look for you. Name Date Place and BM or D Please

Hi Clare You could also try, freebmd,it's similar to familysearch. Freebmd is not complete and I think familysearch isn't either. Duncan

Have you tried FamilyHistoryOnline? It can sometimes have information on that you can't find elsewhere. You do have to pay but it is quite cheap. The records are only a few pence each. I have found quite a bit of useful information on there including 1841 and 1851 censues. Depends on the area you are looking for, so you might strike lucky.
