Hi All, There is a rumour in my family that says that my g.grandfather went to an art school.(My mum has one of his paintings, so we know that he was certainly interested in art!) As he was born in 1881, i would guess he went c 1900. Does anyone have any idea how to look for such a school ? What would the school have been like? The family were in Birmingham in 1881, Harborne, Smethwick in 1891 and Handsworth in 1901. Then i think back to Aston, Birmingham. Grateful for any ideas/comments. Karen |
