does anybody know how i would trace my great Aunt who moved to Canada in WW2. she married a Canadian soldier and emigrated. |

A good starting point and one I used when looking up members of my family who went to Canada in the early 1930's is www(.)nationalarchivescanada(.)com (remove brackets). It's quite an extensive site with various different links depending on what you're looking for. I think that immigration details only go up to about 1935 at the present time so you may not be lucky with that one, but if you have an idea of which state she ended up in, you might find something of use to you Lou |

Sorry to be picky.... but Canada has provinces not states! It is difficult due to the privacy issues here to get much information. The provinces all administer there own Vital stats so you would have to know which province and then proceed from there. There really isn't much on line for more recent events. Barbara |
