Does anyone have any idea how I go about tracking them down. I have them on the 1901 census in London, they are not on the 1891 census so I presume that they came over here sometime in that 10 year period. Where do I start???

Maddening that all this is in French. Even the Flanders part of Belgium is in French! Big language arguments here in Belgium and I find it odd that North of Brussels official documents are published on the net in French. I'm sure that the local commune records are NOT written in French.

Iam also looking for ancestors who are supposed to have come to the uk in the 1800's, if anyone has had any results in finding belgian immigrants to uk please let me know,am sure there must be some record of their entry into uk which would be easier than finding anything that is recorded in french!
