Hi Brian, I installed FTM 2005 a couple of days ago over version 11 without any problems. I have six different family files and it saved them all. Dave

I have just installed FTM 2005 over the top of version 11 which the instructions tell you its safe to do and you will not loose any data Beware make sure you back up all your info to cd first. I lost a whole family in my tree, luckily i had copied my info to cd . So all you out there be carefull make sure you BACK UP TO CD FIRST. Any one else had trouble? Brian
