I'm glad you all liked it. I'm keen to build up a picture of the times people lived in, as well as finding dates and connections, so thought it was a real treasure. I'd love to know who the original recorder of the census was - it was certainly a very subjective and value-laden set of statements! Sue (in NZ)

Hi, its a very interesting site. I trawled down a bit nervous Id find any of my lot but they arent there. I will make it a favourite as it really makes an interesting read.

Thanks for that Sue, we have lots of Norwich connections, and although we've not quite got back to 1570, it's interesting to read the little comments about each family and maybe one day we'll be able to actually connect some of them to our tree. Carolyn
