My Great Aunt Margaret Helen Ames married an Australian Service Man July/Sept 1919.I think I found her entry on 1837.com but can't I find his name any were.I think his name was Elamore but I could not find an entry for him.Is there any were I can look to find out who he was. Andy

If the marriage was after 1911, then the spouse's surname should be listed in the index alongside the entry that you found. You could then look up that surname in the same quarter to get their first name. If what you're saying is that the other surname isn't listed, then you'd have to buy the certificate (specifying only the name that you know).
