I agree with that William, I have a couple but there down as brick makers, so it could be just another name for Brickmaker?. Pat x

One or two mentions via Google - it seems to be another name for a bricklayer.

I would imajine that a Bricksetter loaded the Clay etc into moulds, whereafter they were quite literally baked in the kilns. Regards William Russell Jones Cefn Mawr Wrexham.

Hi all Many of my ancestors worked in the brick making industry, have some listed as kiln operator etc Does anyone know what a bricksetter would do?? Thanks Sarah
