It was the 1901 image. Looking again, I see there were at least 5 households sharing this address and the chances of any working connection between Kleboe and Cooper are probably slim. |

Geoff was that out of the original 1901 census or did you find it in another document as I only found his sister at the address and she is down as a nullworking at home. But its given me new info to follow up |

He was an employer. In the same house was a worker whose job was "Sporting(?) gun maker - action fitter" - I don't know if this would have any relevance. |

Theres a good posabilaty it could be that, but not neccesarily furniture. Draughtsman in the car industry today make models of new cars from wood first. He (Charles) could of been a model maker. I never got around to looking at the original of his page just the printed page so missed the extra bit you saw. Thanks. |

I think the word is boxwood. The entry also has an annotation W Carv so my guess is he was a wood carver producing designs on boxwood furniture. Judith |
