Hi Naomi, Try the Surrey History Centre in Woking they have the records relating to patients and staff of Brookwood Asylum. Although patient records are closed for 100 years it's worth a try. I found details of one of my relatives with their help. can't think of their website off hand but try Googling "Surrey History Centre" and follow the links. Good Luck with your search Michele

Cheers Julie, Felbridge is in Surrey and East Grinstead is next to it in Sussex. It makes it difficult when searching for family that keep hopping over the bloody border! lol Naomi

It's no longer there: they sold off the land for housing, but only fairly recently. It should show up on any map of the 1980s or early 1990s. My brother lives near there, but closer to the cemetery. Brookwood only got a station becasue of the cemetery. First stop from Woking on the line to the west county. Brenda
