I got a starter version of this with this months Your Family Tree..... Really pleased with it, got a 14 day Ancestry free trial too... This lets you search for any person on your tree on Ancestry and allows you to merge results into your tree.... Only just started playing with it but have 14 days to really try it out...May well upgrade to a better version...Does anyone else use this and what are your views Diane

Hi, there have been some long threads on this - look back a few days - use the search facility to find them. Generally everyone is really looking forward to using the FT2005. I have had mine for about 5 weeks now and it is all I wanted in a program for someone who is not a techi. I have added photos, got a website, have printed trees and reports, I think it is great. Ancestry, I also paid my £70 for a year and I think it is very good value.

Hi Diane, does it say what else is on the full version of FTM2005 that is not on the free disk?

Not sure but you have all the deluxe facilities for 14 days. Won't realise until after that what's missing?? Will have a look in the magazine and see what it says Diane ps seems to be mainly the charts are more limited, no book reports, or ability to export in pdf and text formats
