Can answer this one 100% for you, it was indeed in the Parish of St Phillip & St Jacob at the rear end of Old Market it runs between Lawrence Hill and Barton Hill Rd. However today it's known as Barrow Road. The reason I can confirm this is that in 1881 several relations lived there, this is confirmed in Kellys Directory of Bristol 1889. Then on a 1903 map of Bristol I have it has become Barrow Rd so it changed names between 1889-1903 Hope this helps Alan |

St Philips is a district in the centre of Bristol, it was very heavily bombed and has been re-developed since the 70's. I would imagine that the street does not exist anymore . Have you tried finding an old map on the internet? |

Do any of you know where Barrow Lane in Bristol was please? Doesn't seem to exist any more (well, I can't find it anyway). I think it was in the St Phillips area somewhere although I'm not sure which part of Bristol that is!!. Tried Googling but got nowhere. |
