i used the ancestory web site and whent on to the charnocks own family name message board and i emailed everyone dire ct who had the same surname and i got lucky but its worth doing it i just copied down their email address coz it wont let you cut and paste it and they may still not visit the site give it a try im still smileing and i met the family last night it was like seeing a ghost
