Hi, I have just Deleted my old tree, in order to import my new one, to save typing in a few hundred names, but I keep getting 'the page cannot be displayed' and 'internal server error' after about 5 minutes. Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong, please! Thanks Eileen. |

Hi Eileen, It says that you must only have your name on your tree and it must match to enable the import to work. Nicky |

Your Gedcom needs to be saved in the 'Ansi' format before you can import to GR. See tips on importing your tree (Import/Export tree) for further details. |

Hi Nicky, I have left my name and date of birth on, which are the same on the file i'm importing. It is a big tree, over 4000 names, i'm wondering if its taking to long to import? is there a limit on size? Eileen |
