Is there anywhere I can find out who was living at an address (83 Adamson road ,Canning Town, West Ham, Essex) on the night of the 1901 census please? As far as I know you can't search for an address on Ancestry. Is there any other way? Thanks Lynne |

You can search by address on microfiche at the Family Records Centre in London, and in the relevant records office / main library for that area. Joy |

I got this from ancestry. Leonard and Charlotte Lurain, ages 26 and 28 were living at no 83 Adamson Rd. I found the address on the 1901 site, then looked it upon ancestry by looking at the Enumaration district. Anna :-) Theres also a family called Wallis there and a family called Thompson/Wells |

Hi Anna Thanks for that. I was just about to spend £5 on the 1901 site to look that up but you've saved me that. Thank you for the information. Sadly its not who I thought it might be. Nevermind, I will keep trying to find them. Thanks again for your help. Lynne |
