Member Since: May 2004 Posts: 17,743 Send Message	On my g.mothers birth cert.the fathers name Charles Douglas Photographer.Mother Maria Douglas formerly Smedley.Mother living St Johns Chapel Stanhope.My grandmother Constance Ruby Douglas was born 1889 in St Johns Chapel .In 1891 censusConstance is living with Ann & Annie Graham.as 1 year nurse child.She is still there in 1901.She married in 1913 and was living in Hood street St Johns chapel.No sign of her parents marriage, although not sure where they married. Point of thread.Looked for Charles on Photographers in Victorian times.Site seemed to be England only.Does anyone Know of a Scottish site as I may need to look there.Also was there a separate census for Scotland I havnt had to deal with this area yet.
