Louise As far as I'm aware people on ships are all listed on the census if they were in a port on census night. If they were at sea, then they wouldn't get a visit from the enumerator! nell |

I think there were special forms that were filled in for ships and even canal barges. I have come across boats on canals sometimes. Martin |
