Hi, If there was an inquest the death cert will say so and the coroner's name will be on it. Gwynne

Any tips on how to access medical records? Having limited success on tracing g grandfather Harry Davies but do have his death certificate from 1950. Thought his medical records may give some clues to his early life - can't find him before 1916. Also, believe he died suddenly so how do I find out if there was an inquest. I've already thought of looking in local newspaper which I will do shortly but any other tips much appreciated? Jools
