Family Tree Maker - S&N say on its way!

Hi to all of you that have ordered the Family Tree Maker 2005 from S&N and are still waiting for it. Just thought I would let you all know that I emailed them last night about mine and they have just replied and said that they are due to get stock in on Monday and they are sending them out in priority order. Im really hoping they do Pat, been waiting ages. But if they do do it in priority order, alot of other people have been waiting alot longer than me so they will probably run out of them again. Claire |

My fingers are well and truely crossed! I know of the other people as was reading their gripes with this on a previous thread of mine. Some have been waiting since September for theirs. C xx |

Yes, mine was ordered in September! The only thing is, when I sent them the first email to ask where my order was, they'd already had one delivery and run out - let's hope that doesn't happen again this time. If it does, then their buyer needs a kick up the wotsit for not ordering enough in the first place lol! If mine doesn't come in the next few days, I'm definitely going to cancel and order it from Ancestry. Mandy :) |

Wish i had known about ancestry of this computing place a month ago and i would have ordered it through them. Oh well....will keep watching the letter box for the next week. C xx |

YOU MIGHT ALL BE INTERESTED TO NOTE THIS: I went on the TWR Computing site to have a look around and it is a genealogy supplies site (I thought it might just be computer software). I ordered the ordinary FTM 2005 from S&N for £29.90 inc p+p, not realising that THERE IS A DELUXE VERSION!!! TWR have this for £33.90 inc p+p and for that extra £4, you get extract CDs of 1851 census and parish records. I've ordered mine from them and have cancelled with S&N, as I'm not satisfied that out of two UK companies, one has stock and the other is keeping us all waiting! Mandy :) |

Hi Pat, the address is www.twrcomputing(.)co(.)uk . I found the acknowledgement email from S&N and just clicked on reply. I politely said that I'd had several emails from them promising delivery soon, but I now wanted them to cancel my order because other UK companies had stock of the item. Mandy :) |
