Burning the midnight oil here... I used to live a way along the coast from Bexhill. Old fashioned seaside town, with a high proportion of retired people. If you saw the drama about someone with Tourette's and OCD which was on a month or so ago (what was it called?) they featured its most famous landmark, the De La Warr Pavilion, during the end sequence. Mind you, unless your gran was around in the area during the 1930's she wouldn't have seen it as that's when it was built!

You could try googling. There are bound to be old photos somewher in Bexhill library or the Sussex records office. nell

hi all, i have just found that my g.gran was living in bexhill sussex in 1901, one of the children was born in:sussex bexhill sidley, does anyone know the area, i would be very grateful for any info, they lived in north rd. many thanks, chris.
