Crista . . . . thankyou very much. Even though there is no trace of Arthur, It's nice to know Mr Dixon is listed although he is wrongly down as Dickson. Once again thankyou very much. Brian

Leonard Gibson is the head of house in 1910. No Arthur is listed there. William is listed as Dickson. Crista

Christa, that was quick ! ! ! It's a pity only the head of the house was listed. If it's that easy to check, could you please see if William Dixon is listed as living at 497 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, New York, he lived here from 1908 until 1952. Thankyou very much indeed.

Does anyone have access to the 1910 American census? Arthur Falkland Howard HEAD (b. England 1879) passed through Ellis Island, New York in August 1909. His immigration papers said he was an engineer. He was going to stay with a friend, William E Dixon at 497 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, New York. In 1912 Mr HEAD was living at 5727 Springfield Avenue, Philadelphia, he was now calling himself an inventor. I would very much like to know what his entry on the 1910 census says. Can anyone help please?
