Hi Selena his mums single name was Knight and the funny thing is the letter she received from the army says to Mr Charles and Mrs Celia Miller and goes on to say how he died and I also went to the war graves site and found him on there and the memorial says son of Mr and Mrs Miller I know he was not adopted or anything he was their natural Son so I was thinking maybe he joined up to escape something and changed his name. I dont know families what would we do without them

because I do know his name and date of birth and my cousin found the Telegramme about him in my nans papers along with pictures of the Funeral and everything

why do you think they are the same person???

I have finally found my Uncle christened Charles Harold Miller born in May 1916 died in Hong Kong during a War in Sept 1939 but what I dont understand is he was registered at Death as a Charles Harold Stevens a letter has been found also from his Regiment about his death also addressed to a Mrs Stevens dont know where this name came from she his mother was only married once to the same man question is why would he have lied and changed his surname ???????? Also excuse my ignorance but what War would this have been
