Ancestry takes its UK BMDs from FreeBMD - there is very little after about 1910 that has been transcribed yet.

I've accessed ancestry plus (via previous tips) and am searching england and wales civil registration index 1837-1983 but seem to get no results past 1905??? I'm leaving the date box on the search page blank, is 1905 the limit for the database?? or am I just being stupid??!!...... probably the latter cos I'm full of cold!! :( Sarah
