Hi My gt gt granfather and the rest of my maternal family were tin miners they were from Warleggan on the Bodmin Moors.

www(.)cornwallcam(.)co(.)uk has lovely pictures which change almost every day, and I think there is a facility to search for particular places, tho don't quote me on that!

Thanks everybody for all your help its is very much appreicated, I shall hopefully this weekend find somethiing. David, Im sorry to say I dont know what area my ggrandfather came from as he later moved to Co Durham and in Co Durham there are millions of Harrisons. Thanks to everyone cheers Yvonne

You can also google to see if there's an online parish clerk for the area(s) you are looking at - mine is brilliant and has sent me info going back to 1750s on 3 sides! nell

Can anyone give me help on where I might locate a site for Tin mines in Cornwall? Im trying to trace my great grandfather Anthony Harrison. Much appreciated.
