Dear Trish Altrincham Library is quite a good one with an excellant local studies range, I should think that they would have local newspapers, its worth a phone call or email. do you know where the death was registered. Email: traffordlocalstudies'hotmail.com shirley If i can be of any help don't hesitate. |

Hi Shirley She was murdered in the June quarter of 1970 - so not that long ago. She came from London and I don't know if she was taken back there to be buried. She was hitch-hiking when she was killed. My Uncle won't talk about her and I don't want to upset him by asking questions. Would you be able to find out for me if there is a library for that area that may have old newspaper reports? I am also going to find out where to get the death certificate from. Thanks Trish |

Dear Patricia, I work in Altrincham so know a little about the area, it is only a very small rural area, I should imagine with only a couple of churches, espeacially ones with graveyards, is it possible to locate her burial place. How long ago are you going back. lol Shirley |
