Many of the messages I have viewed have been people trying to find birth relatives This can be joyful and it can be heartbreaking. Please all fellow searchers remember that often we are total strangers to or birth family - we may be talked about - we may be the skeleton in the family cupboard- do not get disheartened. If your birth family wish to contact you they will. Personally I want to know being adopted pre1976 what my medical history is and I'd love for them to know that I have a young family of my own and am successful - stick with it - you may have success. I have contacted a birth relative through Genes - they know who I am - now it's up to them. Remember fellow searchers give your birth family time.
