No trace of John's birth on Ancestry civil reg; can't find him on the 1881 census either. nell

Hi Have you tried the familysearch site? If you can locate him on the 1881 census it might clarify a bit. Or on one of the censuses on FreeCEN. According to those dates, by the way, I think he died shortly before he got married? ;-) Christine

Can anyone help with any information about John Lowe born approx: 1859 in Cardiff, Wales. Married Emily Lowe in 1900 and lived in Manchester until his death at the approx age of 40. Emily remarried and then lived in Devonshire. They had a daughter Elizabeth (known as Lily). Irene Pattinson
